Consciousness

      Perhaps a most important breakthrough for 20^th and 21^st century psychology, tradition and non-traditional, has been the continued delineation and exploration of human consciousness. There seems to be clear agreement, at the very least, that there are conscious and unconscious aspects of the human mind with the mind considered as the non-physical counterpart to the physical brain and physical body.
