However, the cheers of approval or groans of disbelief are recognizable. the frequent rains can be a source of exhilaration or despair depending upon the outcome of the games.

once a month, usually, the people of alberta street are on display as much as their products. it is a carnival of personal industry & ageless vitality, a street fair. many buildings are in stages of renovation; though others remain as they have for decades.
vendors sell clothing, local art & homemade food. street clowns entertain. spiritualists tell the future with only a small deck of cards or with a brief look at an open hand.
