buildings, at darkness, seem near us

at the perspective of a rooftop ..

and so, their scale becomes imaginable

 

but still ignored, other starry black sights,

unknown astros (spell) a,s,t,r,o,s

and almost forgotten, planet(ary) motion

thru the air the rhythm, we sense,

is the sound of workers talking

purposeful & securely into the houses

of the future

 

and they, then, seizing them,

these constructions, by hand

by steamy machine, seize them

into existence

the past experience of streets

is partially abbreviated on street signs ..

on the corners there are small angular codes

 

these are symbols of overlapping memories

that are modestly notated or cautiously stated
